Singing lead is one of the most vocally talented in Southern Gospel Music, James Kirby.  James’s vocal range extends from the bass to the tenor range, but that is not what makes James stand out most in my mind.  James has a passion for ministry and typically gives the invitation at the end of each of our services.  You can see the desire to see souls saved every time James speaks or sings, and that’s what it’s all about!  James was born and raised in Lucama, NC and currently lives outside of Kenly, NC.  James has been singing gospel music for 28 years, a large majority of that time with The Watchman Quartet which he founded and managed.  James states his favorite singer is Glen Payne, his favorite bible verse is Romans 10: 9-10 and his favorite song is “My Name is Lazarus”.
